V1)
A flying bird through the sky, over the dry land, as the world fell from hand,
Do stars really matter? like we'll ever reach them, or they'll ever be more than something we imagine,
As the weather becomes a rumble, a giant roar, is it into the past or the future we soar,
As nothing is settled but our heart, in the framework of our soul, even though it is never whole,
A music we remember as song, but to which person does it belong, and for how long?
V2)
A thief stole my heart, a dream took it apart, a dream captured me,
And now gentle rain is falling pain, and soothing light is dark twilight,
And all hope is, is little balls of dope, that do nothing, but remind me of something,
and music so beautiful it can only be remembered not heard, not a single note or word,
And my eyes see a world so lost, so gone, it could never be saved at any cost,
C)
We're free to be. We're free to see and hear, we're free to feel love and fear,
but like an illusion, or a dream, we can only go to where we've been,
we can only see what we've already seen, life is not a snapshot, or even a rolling picture.
as our very thoughts and figure fade in the dust, our being's craving meaning or bust.
V3)
And when we're all gone, just wishing we took more care of the land we stood on.
And all those sweet dreams, that never turned to real schemes, will be memory,
but whose, we'll never know, for we are the product of today, not tomorrow.
Time will end the song, and no matter how much we long, no human will belong
B)
I wish you were me, so I could be the one who was free,
I wish you could see, the things I see, the dreams the incredible things,
but you can't, and will never, even if that means forever.
