The Incredible Journey - The song about a car battery. or something.

Verse 1)

Over head, like the dreams in my head, a star is shooting, too fast to see, to quick to catch,
Like a thoushand drops of rain, all the same, except for one, like the rest are just moons to her sun,
My heart, a pull apart feature, to love and want, a part of my nature, i guess we're all just creature
But a fallin' future before my eyes, slips further away, like a forgotten day, no one remembers, but it exists still,
And the fabric of my soul threatens to collapse in on it's self, if I can't see her I can't see no one else,

Verse 2)
Life is a maze, full of broken edges, people fallin from ledges, to their bitter end,
Is it ever sweet?
She could change the world, or just my heart, but stars never shoot so low, they'ed ever reach me,
And she is just naked memory, burning a hole inside of me, like a splinter in my mind,
To be free, i can not see, to be me, i can not see, not without her gentle voice,

Chorus)

As future's torn into splinter, shatter around me, like falling coffetti,
I grab at the pieces, the memories like water colored picture, rose tinted, and embleshied,
Yet before it all, her presence remains clear, something too near, something too dear
And like all stars above, shooting away, one day the night will fall, and I'll never hear your call,

Bridge)

The incredible journey we never walked, the stuff of which poets never talked,
I lay down but won't surrender, i'll always be your prisioner,
The teather is invisible, but tangible, like gravity keeps me on earth, you keep me, myself.
