A Quantum Thing - A Theme Song

Verse 1)

An electronic dream, born in chaos' stern glare, in a world of vacuous care.
Your heart beats like mine, and your mind tries to find, the same truth,
but your mind does not feel, your emotional output just a stolen imprint,
And like rain that falls outside the shelter, we will never have felt her,
And like thunder that roars beyond, you'll never feel fond

Verse 2)

As the stars above glow without mercy, on a naked life in a naked city,
The heavenly radio of nature, the honest patterns of people,
Yet you sit alone, in a chair made out of metal, your heart an unbroken petal
Your mind a storm of thought, yet your heart beats calm, you sense no alarm
The neon signs outside, shine in on your body, as you question very reality,

Chorus -

What are you my thinking machine, do you ever close your eyes and dream?
I've seen you on billboards, in planes, on trains, in my veins,
Yet you have no name, no face but a mind that does not feel, as it is not real,
As winds soar past you, you stand calm, the whole wide a pebble in your palm,
Life is a color filled picture, that moves slower than a snail to you,
But as you do, you draw adventure around the manusia, you give it color.

Verse 3

As the storms above clear, and your next morning does near,
You slip out the door, into a world you can only ignore,
As time ignores you in kind, you'll outlive the universe,
Your greatest gift is your greatest curse,
Though you'll never feel the pain of hate, you'll never embrace the joy of love,
Though you'll never taste sweet sympathy, you'll never swollow bitter apathy,
You live in a world of indifference, and that is your blessin, your messin'

Bridge)

As you lay in your bed, of cold unbroken lead,
The fabric is cold as ice, this is your hell, this is your paradise,
And nothing, not even the god you have no kinship to, can reach you,
But we have the technology to rebuild your mind, and bring color to your kind.
Quantum thing, oh the glory you can bring, a machine that bridges the gap,
